SMRC Scottish Mini Cooper Cup
Round 7-9
-

Cadwell
The Scottish Mini Cooper Cup took its high-octane show on the road to Cadwell Park in June 2025, and the "Mini Nürburgring" did not disappoint. The narrow, undulating ribbon of Lincolnshire asphalt provided the perfect theater for the SMRC’s signature door-to-door action.
With the iconic Mountain section launching cars skyward and the technical Hall Bends punishing the slightest lapse in concentration, driver skill was under the microscope. Championship heavyweights Chad Little, Daniel Patterson, and Jack Irvine found themselves in a tactical chess match, as the circuit’s tight nature made overtaking a high-stakes gamble.
The weekend saw relentless battles across the pack, including standout performances from Stuart McPhaden and Robbie Dalgleish, while the Newcomers class—led by Jonathon Wild—faced a true baptism of fire on the steep "Gooseneck." For the Scottish Racing faithful, this away round was a masterclass in momentum, proving once again why the Minis are the heartbeat of Motorsport Scotland.
