QUALIFYING
⏱️ Qualifying: A Grid of Champions
The season finale qualifying session was one of the most anticipated of the year. While Ross Wilkinson maintained his perfect record as the sole R53 entry, the Cooper class saw a significant shake-up with the return of 2024 champion Oly Mortimer, guesting for Martin Wijetunga.
Oly Mortimer proved he hadn't lost any speed, securing a prime location on the grid and immediately challenging the 2025 title contenders.
Chad Little and Daniel Patterson qualified within striking distance of each other, knowing that every point would decide the title.
The session was incredibly tight, with the top of the field separated by fractions of a second as drivers looked for every possible advantage on the 1.2-mile circuit.

RACE 1
🏆 Race 1: Mortimer’s Guest Masterclass
The opening race of the finale weekend belonged to the guest driver. Oly Mortimer delivered a vintage performance, reminding the field why he wore the #1 plate last season.
Oly Mortimer clinched the victory after an intense battle against the 2025 front-runners.
Daniel Patterson finished as the top championship regular in second, securing vital points to keep his title hopes alive.
Chad Little settled for a podium finish, focusing on a "big picture" approach to the championship standings.
Ross Wilkinson took another unopposed win in the R53 class.

RACE 2
🏆 Race 2: The Title Fight Hits Boiling Point
Race 2 saw the intensity ramp up as the championship leaders went door-to-door. With the title on the line, the racing was some of the most competitive seen all season.
Chad Little secured a crucial victory, edging out his rivals in a high-stakes encounter that put him in the prime position to take the crown.
Daniel Patterson and Jack Irvine rounded out the podium after a frantic race filled with overtakes and defensive masterclasses.
This result meant that Little headed into the final stages of the season with a 21-point cushion.

🏆 Race 3: The Final Flourish
The final heat of the September meeting provided a fitting end to a spectacular season of Scottish Racing.
Daniel Patterson took the final win of the weekend, showing the same pace that has made him a title threat all year.
Chad Little finished second, which was more than enough to provisionally secure the 2025 Scottish MINI Cooper Cup Championship.
Ross Wilkinson completed his season with a 100% win rate in the R53 category.
