QUALIFYING
⏱️ Qualifying: Wilkinson Leads the Way
The qualifying session at Oulton Park saw Ross Wilkinson set a blistering pace in his R53 MINI Cooper S, recording a lap of 1:41.084 to take the overall pole position. In the Cooper class, the competition was fierce for the top spot of Scottish Racing talent:
Stuart McPhaden secured the Cooper class pole with a 1:45.364.
Robbie Dalgleish followed closely in second with a 1:45.790.
Chad Little and Daniel Patterson rounded out the top five overall, separated by less than two-tenths of a second.
The top eight Cooper drivers were all within 1.6 seconds of each other, setting the stage for a classic Motorsport Scotland battle.

RACE 1
🏆 Race 1: A Photo Finish for the Coopers
Race 1 delivered one of the closest finishes of the season for the SMRC Cooper pack. While Ross Wilkinson dominated the R53 class to win overall in 15:40.573, the battle behind him was decided by less than a tenth of a second:
Robbie Dalgleish claimed a dramatic Cooper class victory, crossing the line just 0.063s ahead of Chad Little.
Daniel Patterson secured the final podium spot in third, only 0.244s behind the class winner.
Jack Irvine and Stuart McPhaden completed the top five in the Cooper category.
The race saw high intensity from the start, resulting in a DNF for Jensen Bell on the opening lap.

RACE 2
🏆 Race 2: Little Triumphs in the Second Heat
The second race of the day at Oulton Park saw another masterclass from Ross Wilkinson, who improved his winning time to 15:30.819 as the lone R53. In the Cooper class, the lead battle was once again a highlight for Racing Scotlandfans:
Chad Little took his revenge from Race 1, securing the Cooper class win with a 0.627s margin over Robbie Dalgleish.
Daniel Patterson maintained his consistency to take another third-place finish.
Stuart McPhaden and Martin Wijetunga rounded out the top five after a close-fought session.
Michael Williams and Chris Cockburn finished nose-to-tail in sixth and seventh, separated by just 0.282s.
Ross Foster was the session's only retirement, failing to complete the first lap.
