🏁 Scottish C1 Cup: Your Affordable Entry to Motorsport

Dreaming of becoming a racing driver without breaking the bank? The Scottish C1 Cup, launched in 2019, offers the most budget-friendly entry into competitive racing at Knockhill. The cars, based on the 1-litre Citroen C1 with a roll cage, are quick to build and run under tight, simple regulations to control costs. This guarantees exciting, door-to-door action around the circuit's humps and bumps. Alongside the main title, there is a Newcomers Cup, and drivers can also tackle UK and international endurance races, including the prestigious 24-hour race at Spa-Francorchamps.

  • Scottish Mini Cooper Cup

🏆 Scottish Mini Cooper Cup: The Ultimate Proving Ground

The Scottish Mini Cooper Cup is recognized as one of the UK’s premier single-make series, serving as a critical proving ground for stars like BTCC champions Rory Butcher and Chris Smiley. Close, hard, and competitive racing is guaranteed using the 1.6 Mini Cooper (2001-2006). Regulations ensure strict technical equality, with identical Yokohama tyres and ECUs, focusing entirely on driver skill. The series uses an action-packed, BTCC-inspired race format, including a dramatic reversed-grid ballot for Race 3. Titles are offered for the Overall, Newcomers, and supercharged Cooper SChampionships.

🕰️ Scottish Classic Sports and Saloon Championship: Nostalgia on Track

Always a crowd-pleaser, this championship brings nostalgia by offering drivers a chance to race the iconic cars they grew up watching. It provides a popular avenue for classic car enthusiasts to enjoy a genuine racing experience without modern electronics or driver aids. The championship features diverse classes based on engine size for mass-production and limited-production cars manufactured up to 1989, plus a Future Classics class. A popular highlight is the dedicated, one-make class for the Ford Fiesta XR2. The series is known for its friendly community and represents the ideal first step into the classic motorsport scene.

  • Scottish Fiesta ST Cup

💙 Scottish Fiesta ST Cup: The Blue Oval's Apprenticeship

The Scottish Fiesta ST Cup is the championship of choice for close racing and fans of the Blue Oval, offering an affordable platform with a rich, two-decade heritage. This series has been a vital training ground, launching the career of triple BTCC Champion Gordon Shedden. The Fiesta ST race cars are powered by the standard, punchy 2-litre Duratecunit and use super grippy Yokohama A050 tyres, ABS brakes, and adjustable dampers. This setup provides a responsive yet forgiving experience, attracting both seasoned veterans and newcomers seeking a great apprenticeship in race craft and car control.
